Exercise and Pregnancy, is a line of research (developed by AFIPE) that studies the relationships between exercise, pregnancy and health. It was born with the vocation to serve both Physical Activity and Health professionals who work with pregnant women, as well as pregnant women themselves who wish to start and/or maintain healthy and beneficial physical activity during the pregnancy process.
As a pregnant woman, you have started a wonderful process in your life, but one that is accompanied by uncertainties, doubts, and even fears. Your body will undergo a series of adaptive changes to your new state. The long history and experience that AFIPE accumulates, allows us to affirm that physical activity, regulated, structured and supervised by experts, can offer you multiple benefits before, during and in the recovery of your pregnancy.
